Perfumes
How much oils do you use in the perfumes?
Our perfumes have an oil concentration of an Eau de Parfum (EDP).
Do you use naturals?
We’ve chosen our ingredients based on their intrinsic beauty and hedonic qualities, not whether they are synthetic or natural. We believe every ingredient has a role to play in a formula. We use a selection of LMR Naturals - undoubtedly the most stunning qualities available - as well as contemporary synthetic molecules which are the signature of modern perfumery.
How were the ingredients in the palette chosen?
We’ve put a lot of care towards curating a palette of ingredients that gives you access to the most beautiful and highest quality materials available. Our collective of perfumers has lovingly combined these ingredients into accords (mini compositions containing 2 to 20 ingredients) that span across a wide range of olfactory worlds. We have created 48 streamlined compositions of the essential building blocks of perfumery to allow a myriad of creations and sensations.
Are your scents safe?
We are deeply committed to transparency and safety in the creative process and have integrated a real-time safety review function in our app. Every unique formula created respects international ingredient regulatory guidelines. We are very proud to make this professional perfumery feature available at an individual level for the very first time!
What are the Library scents based on?
The scents in the Library showcase just a few of the sensory worlds the AI has explored. The possibilities are endless and we'll keep highlighting perfumes in our palette to inspire you!
What's the price of the perfumes?
For the price of an experience, view the Product page. Besides the experiences we also offer 5ml, 30ml and 50ml Libary scents and (re)orders of My scents. The bottle prices are shown next to the sizes on the scent detailpage(s). Shown prices are including VAT (when applicable) and excluding shipping costs.
Experiences
How can I create my own custom scent?
All you need to do is complete the ‘Based on my personality’ questionnaire. The Artificial Intelligence (AI) will create 3 unique scent formulae. If you choose to order them, we will ship a box with the 5ml bottles to your chosen location.
Is my scent really unique?
Yes, each scent formula created is one-of-a-kind!
Can I create a scent for someone else?
Yes you can! Select 'For someone else', under 'Experiences', to create unique scents based on their personality seen through your eyes.
How does the artificial intelligence (AI) work?
The AI analyses and interprets your answers and combines it with what is has learned to create scents that are hyper-personal. The more users interact with the platform, the more accurate it gets.
Why do I have to answer all these questions?
Your answers guide the creation of the scents and help the AI generate scents that are a close match to each person's unique personality.
What do I receive after ordering the 'based-on-personality' box set (for yourself or someone else)?
You will receive a box with your unique creations. The 'box set includes a total of 3 x 5ml bottles created by the AI.
What do I receive after ordering a big bottle of; one of my unique perfumes, or one of the Library?
The large bottle box includes a 30ml or 50ml bottle of your selected scent(s) from 'My perfumes' or the Library.
What if I don't like the scents I receive?
Don't worry! One of our scent coaches will gladly assist you. All you have to do is email us at: sos@algorithmicperfumery.com
Giftcards
How much does a giftcard cost?
You can pick an amount from and higher.
Can you send the e-giftcard to the receiver?
The receiver will be notified of the details of the e-giftcard via email.
Can I buy a tangible giftcard?
That's possible! Order your tangible giftcard at the Giftcards page.
What can be bought with the giftcard credit?
Giftcards can be used towards purchasing the Experience or scents from 'My creations' or the Library.
What are the terms & conditions?
Algorithmic Perfumery giftcards can be used as payment for purchases at this website or in one of our physical locations. Giftcards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, except as required by law. Our Giftcards have an 18 months expiration date and no service fees. For balance inquiries, go to 'Giftcards' in the menu or email info@everyhuman.com.
Tokens
Where can I spend tokens?
Tokens can be spend on all 5ml scents. This includes all tweaks, Library scents and re-orders of your creations.
How do I use tokens?
By purchasing 5ml scent(s), your balance will be used automatically during checkout, in the online ánd offline store. 1 token is used for 1 x 5ml scent. There’s no expiration date.

Which payment methods can I use?
You can checkout using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard), iDeal, Apple Pay, Bancontact and Giropay.
Can I view my order history?
You can view your order history under My Account.
Shipping & delivery
How much do I have to pay for shipping?
Shipping costs vary depending on the destination and are automatically calculated during checkout.
Which delivery method do you use?
We use UPS or PostNL, depending on the country of destination.
How long will it take for my order to arrive in NL?
Your order can take between 3 to 10 days. Covid-19 circumstances might cause a small delay. Please give it at least 3-10 days before contacting us about your package.
Why is this not faster?
We offer the experience at a very affordable price and hope to be able to work with faster shipping partners in the near future.
How long will it take for my order to arrive outside the Netherlands?
Your order can take between 4 to 10 days depending on the destination. Covid-19 circumstances might cause a small delay. Please give it at least 4-10 days before contacting us about your package.
Can I track and trace the order?
You will receive an email with the tracking information for your package once it has shipped.
What if I'm not home during delivery (in NL)?
Our shipping partner will leave a message where to pick up the package.
What if I'm not home during delivery outside NL?
Our shipping partner will coordinate a new delivery.
Returns
Can I return my custom scent order?
Every scent created is unique, freshly made and bottled as soon as the order is placed. For this reason, we do not accept returns or refunds.

Library scents are freshly made and bottled as soon as the order is placed. For this reason, we do not accept returns or refunds.
